Ashland Resort Photo Contest Rules and Release
1. Eligibility: This Contest is open to U.S. residents 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Ashland Scenic Campground LLC, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to enter Contest or to participate in the voting process. Contest is governed by the laws of the U.S.A. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
2. To Enter: The Contest begins March 1st 2010, and ends at October 31st 2010. To enter, visit Ashland Photo Contest and follow the instructions. Please upload your favorite photo. Entrants will be required to read the full rules, agree to photo release and provide an entry, which will include: entrant’s name, email address, digital image, and caption, and phone number. All submissions must be family friendly to be considered. The Submission must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. All submissions must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET, October 31st 2010. All entries become the property of Ashland Scenic Campground LLC. We reserve the right to use your entry in all print and electronic media, and to edit it for brevity and clarity.
3. Judging: Photos will be selected by Ashland Scenic Campground LLC staff based on the following criteria: Originality 80%, and Photo Quality 20%. All entries will be judged using the criteria stated above. Judges’ decisions are final. Ashland Scenic Campground LLC will post images on http://atvresort.com. Members of the public will be invited to review photos.
4. Prize(s): A monthly winner will receive a $25.00 gift certificate for use at Ashland Resort. In November a winner will be selected from the winners of each monthly contest and receive a prize of $100.00
5. Conditions: Ashland Scenic Campground LLC is not responsible for lost, late, or unintelligible entries, lost connections, miscommunications, failed transmissions, other technical difficulties or failures. Ashland Scenic Campground LLC reserves the right to terminate or modify this contest at any time in the event of any intervention with the promotion beyond the control of Ashland Scenic Campground LLC. In such a circumstance, Finalists and Grand Prize winner will be selected based on entries received to date of termination. In the event that two similar entries are received, only the entry judged to best meet criteria as set by Ashland Scenic Campground LLC will be included in the final judging. Entrants agree to indemnify Ashland Scenic Campground LLC and its affiliated and subsidiary companies from and against any and all claims and liabilities arising out of or in connection with this Contest.
Winner will be notified by email within four (4) weeks of the closing date. All Finalists will be required to agree to the use of their name and likeness and entry for promotional purposes (except where prohibited by law).
6. Photo Release: I hereby grant “Ashland Scenic Campground LLC” permission to use my likeness in a photograph in any and all of its publications, including website entries, without payment or any other consideration. I understand and agree that these materials will become the property of “Ashland Scenic Campground LLC” and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize “Ashland Scenic Campground LLC” to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute this photo for purposes of publicizing “Ashland Scenic Campground LLC” programs or for any other lawful purpose. In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photograph. I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge “Ashland Scenic Campground LLC” from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization. I am 18 years of age and am competent to contract in my own name. I have read this release before joining “Ashland Scenic Campground LLC” and I fully understand the contents, meaning, and impact of this release.
