Me and 3 friends stay there 4 years ago. We just got back from a 4
day stay this sept. Just like four years ago the stay there was GREAT!! The
staff there is very friendly and helpfull. The resort and bathhouse are very
clean and maintained!! We will definately be staying there in the future!!!

If you are looking for a quiet well-kept family friendly campground then Ashland Resort is just right! They enforce quiet time and keep the party crowds out.... This is exactly what you want at the end of a hard days ride! If you’re into partying and loud campgrounds then don't come here.....

We (me and my husband) visited the Ashland Resort Campground May 2012. It was our first time staying here. We loved it. We loved how it was clean, friendly, and safe, the layout and the entire Indian Ridge trail is right off the camp area and you can ride the connecting trail to Pinnacle creek. Now they have the new Pocahontas trail (wasn't open yet when we went but we already booked a spot here for the fall) that you can also have access to. They have a gas pump to refill your tanks right next to the main office/store. The store is very nice, clean and has all your needs. If you forgot or need anything...firewood, matches, ice, helmets, all kinds of drinks and food with a microwave to heat stuff up if you need to. The shower houses were very nice and very accessible. This will definitely be our place to stay in the future.

This is an excellent place to stay regardless of the size of your party! Plan ahead, communicate your needs and they will accommodate the best they can. They are ready to answer questions and their web site is extremely helpful..... Stay here and you won't be disappointed.

We have had two great trips to the Ashland Resort. I have stay in numerous places and ridden several of the trails, but this is the best experience we have had. The staff is really nice and willing to help in any way. The cable TV cord I had was not long enough to reach my camper. The staff brought another one to my camp site for us to use. The riding is the best on the east coast. From the Ashland resort you can ride three different Hatfield McCoy trail and all the outlaw trails you want. The only thing I do not like about a trip to the Ashland Resort is it does not last long enough. If you want some good clean family fun in a family atmosphere go to The Ashland Resort!

The Ashland Lodge provided an excellent experience for our first trip to the Hatfield McCoy trails. There are two direct access trails on the premises leading directly to the Indian Ridge trail system. The store is well stocked and I was glad it was there when I needed transmission fluid. As a bonus, the stream running behind sites 47-52 was very relaxing. I am looking forward to the next trip.

Ashland is the nicest resort to stay at. Employees will help you in any way they. Can to help your stay be one of the best weekends you can have on your 4 wheeling adventure. We found the place last year and rode through most of the other places and we were so glad that we picked it first. It is the best looking and has the most options for for camping. All the sites are very clean and so are the restrooms and showers. The store has some parts for most bikes which is very nice in case you forget something or you end up needing something. You can't go wrong with Ashland.

Ashland Resort is a great place to stay, it is quiet, friendly and the staff always makes you feel at home. You can ride three different trail systems right from their grounds - no tailoring. You are on Indian Ridge and can take the connector to Pinnacle and get to the new Pocahontas. We rode Pocahontas and it is a really nice collection of trails. About the only thing I can see that Ashland would benefit from is a lodge where you could get simple meals and converse with the other riders. That said this is a great place to stay, I believe you will not be disappointed if you choose this place for your next trip.

We love this place. My husband and I come with our ATVs a few times every year. The staff is always great, the campground is well kept (and a beautiful location), and we always feel safe staying here. It's unbeatable to be able to hop right on the bikes and take off on the Hatfield McCoy trails right from the campsite.

This was my first trip and I can say, it will NOT be my last. Everybody we encountered (staff, and fellow neighbors) for the trip were more than nice and were very helpful with explaining the trails. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to stay for their visit to HMT to look into Ashland Resort. Thanks again and can’t wait till the next trip.

There is no better place to stay around Hatfield other than the Ashland Resort. Nice clean cabins, friendly staff and if there is any problems with your stay, they will fix it ASAP! You got to stay here, the BEST!

We have stayed at Ashland many times over the last few years. This past time was our first time staying in the Lodge, which was very nice. We have normally stay in one of the 2 room cabins and have also used a tent site. We have always been pleased with our experiences. The cabins and bathhouse are always clean and pleasant. The Ashland staff is always friendly and wonderful to work with from the reservations to directions to checking out. We always look forward to our trips to WV and Ashland Resort. Can't wait to come back!!

These folks make the guest feel valuable. Every aspect of my visit was wonderful. Staff are concerned about my experience and made every effort to be certain that my expectations were exceeded. These are great people!

Spending New Year's at Ashland Resort was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We LOVED the 1 room cabin, staff (so friendly and helpful), and trails. You will definitely get to know us by name- you're awesome and we don't have a single complaint! Thank you and see you in a few weeks!

 Almost heaven describes it pretty well. Ashland Resort is a super place to stay and ride. We feel safe and always welcome. The trails are clean and well marked. We also enjoy visiting the small towns. Bramwell is one of my favorite. And if you happen to have an accident. Medical services are very professional.  Looking forward to our spring 2012 trip.

The trails are wonderful. The cottages and cabins are beautiful and comfortable. The people are so nice and helpful. Here is an example... Pattie (An employee at Ashland) brought my laundry to my front door folded and in a plastic bag so it would stay dry. She said she didnt want me to have to come back out in the rain NOW THAT WAS GREAT SERVICE... We will be back. Good service is hard to find these days, and now that we found it we will keep coming back. Mr. Rick is very helpful also.  That was the only thing we could find wrong. See ya soon.

This was the first annual ATV trip to the Ashland Resort and will not be the last. Our stay in the resort was wonderful, tent camping on large sites and clean bathrooms to clean up after a day of trail riding made for a great weekend getaway. Staying in an ATV environment was a different camping experience but knowing all was there for the same reason made it all worthwhile. Thank you Ashland team for the "Wild and Wonderful" stay and play time for all ATV enthiasts.
