Ashland Resort is a campground built with you in mind! Not only do we offer improved Tent Sites and RV Sites with Full-Hookups, but we also have Camping Cabins and Camping Cottages available for rent. As well as Lodges to help accommodate our larger groups. Ashland Resort offers 24 Hour Security so that you feel safe, secure and right at home.
We understand that camping doesn’t mean you want to be out of touch, Campers at Ashland Resort are able to take advantage of free cable TV and limited Wi-Fi service. Due to the rural location surrounded by the beautiful lush mountains, internet service can also be sporadic.
Ashland Company Store
Our well-stocked Camp Store offers for sale items you might need while visiting: Groceries, Ice, Firewood, ATV Supplies, ATV Gas, LP Gas as well as a nice selection of gifts and souvenirs. Our campground also offers a playground and a secluded pet walk for the convenience of visitors.
Ashland Scenic Campground has direct connection to Hatfield McCoy Trails.
Ashland Company Store is located less than a mile from our resort. If you cant find what you are looking for at our campstore you are sure to find it at the company store. The company store is stocked with refreshing adult beverages, tobacco products, lottery and serveral heat and eat items as well as souvenirs and much,much more.

Ashland Resort Cherokee Welcome Center
The Ashland Resort Cherokee Welcome Center completes the retreat package. Check-in at the front desk. In addition to offering Hatfield-McCoy Trail Permits, the store is packed with the essentials. Snacks, Groceries, ATV Emergency Supplies & Accessories, RV Supplies, Riding Gloves & Helmets, and much more. LP and gasoline complete the offering.
Trail maps and the latest trail gossip are readily available. Ashland Resort allows guests and riders direct access to four Hatfield-McCoy Trail Systems and 350 miles of connected managed trails, centrally located and imbedded within Hatfield-McCoy’s Indian Ridge Trail System. Pinnacle Creek and Pocahontas Trails and Warrior Trails are easily accessible.

Ashland Bathhouses
Our Bath Houses have showers with plenty of hot water in addition to a pay Laundry Mat and a covered Camper Kitchen. Ashland has two clean full service bathhouses, complete with handicap accessible bathrooms.

Standard Rules For All Pets
A $50 non-refundable pet fee will be charged to your site.
This fee will be per pet in cabin sites – Only applies to cabin sites Maximum of 2 pets
If pets are inside & left unattended, they must be in a crate Pets must always be on a leash when outside
If they poop, you scoop Any sign of aggression will result in immediate removal of pets.
Quiet hours must be maintained for all pets from 10:00pm to 7:00 am
No Pit bulls or aggressive animals allowed
No Pets in Ashland Lodges or in Area Rentals
West Virginia law requires a copy of rabies vaccination for all pets
